Contribute to Our Cardboard Community

We’re very excited to be part of the 2013 Maker Faire Bay Area! Our exhibit gives kids a chance to collaborate around building their own community using cardboard. They will have limited materials (duct tape, zip ties, Makedo parts, and copious amounts of cardboard).

If you’re at the Faire this weekend be sure to stop by (we’ll be at station 7), and we can’t wait to meet all the students and teachers during Maker Faire Education Day this Thursday.

Maker Faire: Education Day (Thursday, May 16, 11:00am-2:30pm)
Education Day is an opportunity for K-12 school field trips to get a sneak preview of Maker Faire and get inspired by Makers in disciplines they may never have imagined. We are expecting over 1,900 students this year.

Maker Faire (Saturday & Sunday, May 18 & 19, 10:00am-8:00pm)
A family-friendly festival of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker movement. We are expecting over 120,000 people over the course of 2 days, and can’t wait to see their cardboard creations!

Location:
Station 7
